The chunk border is the area where the generated world prior to Minecraft 1.7 meets the world generated after the 1.7 update.
In some areas the border are almost seamless, while in other areas large vertical cliffs form. These sheer vertical stone cliffs make for a perfect slate for pixel arts. These are most concentrated on the northern chunk border, the closest from the Unterganger City.
